Holiday Taxis expands premier service: - Travel Bulletin - 07 Mar 2008
Holiday Taxis has expanded its premier service to include the key Spanish cities, Jersey, Malta, Menorca and Helsinki, in addition to Nice, Portugal and Tunisia. Customers booking the service will be picked up in an upgraded vehicle, such as an S class Mercedes in Jersey.
Other new locations for the premier service are Madrid, Malaga, Murcia, Seville, Granada, and Almeria.
The company’s sales and marketing director Russell Parr said “More and more people are willing to pay a premium for better service, particularly in the travel sector. You can see this in the growth in Business Class-only airlines, the uptake of premium suites in hotels and more airlines introducing upgraded seat options.
“ The journey to and from the airport is the first and last experience of a customers holiday - it’s the first and last experience in that particular city or resort before transiting the no-mans land of airports.
“Making these parts of the holiday enjoyable, stress-free, and a part of the overall trip is becoming increasingly important as people work hard and want to eek our every last minute of their trip.”
