Taxis For Agent On-line - Stan Magazine - 21 Oct 2003
The Holiday Taxis Version 2 website giving agents on-line bookability and access to a wide range of vehicles has now been launched.
Previously, the Holiday Taxis site provided agent with the information they needed to offer customers onward private transfer from the destinations airport to resort, but a phone call was required to complete the transaction.
With immediate effect, agents can complete the entire booking on-line, providing a faster and a greatly enhanced service for customers.
New features of the site include quick search facility, increased number of vehicles size, the ability to book different seasons and a host of new European city destinations.
Due to follow shortly are ski transfers and a reporting suite, enabling agents to view all bookings transfers
and providing a detailed monthly invoice. Commented Paul Stanyer, Managing Director, Holiday Taxis,
"Since our launch in February, we have had a fantastic uptake mainly from the independent agent and groups and,
if anything, had underestimated the requirement for vehicles of different sizes other than taxis. We've now addressed
that situation and are providing on-line access to vehicles ranging from cars to coaches, mini buses or limousines,
for any number if people from 1 to 1,000".
In addition to the core Mediterranean resorts, Holiday Taxis has also increased its network with the addition
of European cities such as Prague, which is available for £40 return.
The company aims to add more European cities as well as New York, Boston and other USA city destinations, selected Caribbean island and a comprehensive portfolio of European ski destinations over the coming months.
As a further benefit to agent and customer, Holiday Taxis will also introducing its own desk at major Spanish airports including Majorca, Tenerife, Alicante and Malaga, which will greatly enhance customer service on arrival.
